The façade is characterized by strong vertical lines, pointed-arch portals, tracery details and rich brick ornamentation. The symmetrical composition and rhythmic vertical divisions emphasize the sacred and monumental character of the building. The basilica serves as the cathedral of the Warsaw-Praga Diocese and is considered one of the most important examples of late 19th-century sacred architecture in Poland.
