Cepelia

This poster depicts one of the most recognisable buildings in Warsaw – the Cepelia headquarters on Marszałkowska Street, whose façade has long symbolised Polish folk culture and artisanal heritage. Built between 1964 and 1966, the building was designed by architect Zygmunt Stępiński in collaboration with Andrzej Milewski and Aleksander Haweman. It became a key destination in the capital for traditional crafts and folk art.

Part of the façade is clad in hand-fired turquoise ceramic tiles, visually linking the structure to the rich tradition of Polish folk design.
